The unit, explained
The 18-yard, by the numbers
16 feet long. 7.5 feet wide. 4.5 feet tall. Big enough to swallow a kitchen-remodel tear-out or a full garage purge, small enough to live on a normal Menifee driveway without a permit. Here's what's actually under the BullDawgs tarp.

Why 18, not 20?
The dumpster industry standardized around 20-yard cans because rental companies make more money quoting the larger size. The catch: a 20-yarder is a few feet longer, and those few feet are usually the difference between sitting on private property and hanging over the sidewalk into the public right-of-way.
In Riverside County, the second your bin touches the street or sidewalk, you're into city-permit rules — barricades, lights, a paper trail, sometimes a hold-up. By running an 18-yard size, almost every house we serve in Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, and Lake Elsinore can have a dumpster on-site with zero red tape.
And the capacity difference in practice? About 8% — which most folks make up with a little smarter loading. Same useful volume, dramatically less hassle.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What are the exact dimensions of your 18-yard dumpster?
Roughly 16 feet long, 7.5 feet wide, and 4.5 feet tall. The footprint sits comfortably inside a standard two-car residential driveway with room to walk around both sides — important for both loading and for keeping the can off the public sidewalk.
How much weight can an 18-yard dumpster hold?
Our flat rate includes up to 3 tons (6,000 lb) of mixed debris. That covers basically every household cleanout and most remodel projects. Concrete, roofing shingles, and dirt are heavy enough that we'll talk you through a separate plan before delivery so you don't run into a surprise overage charge.
Why an 18-yard dumpster instead of a 20 or 30-yarder?
Two reasons: driveway fit and Riverside County permit rules. A 20-yard can usually still fits, but the moment a bin sits even partially on a public sidewalk or street, you're in city-permit territory. Our 18-yard size is calibrated to stay fully on private property at the vast majority of Menifee, Murrieta, and Temecula homes.
How tall are the side walls — can I throw stuff in over the side?
The walls are about 4.5 feet high, which most adults can load comfortably without a ramp. For heavier items (couches, fridges, water heaters), the rear barn doors swing fully open so you can walk pieces straight in instead of hoisting them over.
Will the 18-yard fit in my driveway?
If your driveway can hold two full-size vehicles parked end-to-end, the 18-yard fits with room to spare. We've placed cans in driveways from Sun City to Old Town Temecula. If you're worried about clearance — tight gates, low overhead branches, narrow turns — text us a photo when you call and we'll confirm before we roll out.
